I just found your site. It was posted on mastiffonline.com. I wanted to send a picture of Dolly, one of my mastiffs. She was a year old in this picture, standing in the snow.

Thank you!
Great site!

Family of newfs-Lily, Sullivan & Olivier

(This gives newf meaning to the old saying "The eyes have it.")

This is our Zulu. (!40 lbs) of Rhodesian Ridgeback... he loves to sleep in our bed in the winter. It's all "dressed" for him and his brother... and at night Zulu prefers to stay under the covers.  Oh well, it's summer now so we have it all to ourselves!

This is my Great Dane. His name is Zeus and he is 9 months old, weighing in at 165+ pounds already! He has the most expressive face that we have ever seen in a dog and it continues to crack us up all the time! Our hearts belong to Zeus. He is our dream come true!

Thank you,
Linzi

"Tank at 9 months old humble servant and throne to King Keaton, age 6."

lots of great stuff on your site

[This is] my big boy, Mason.  He's my 2 yr old Akita rescue. [He's] making faces at me. He herds our two children onto the lawn when a car comes onto our street, and loves to play soccer.   Love him, love him, love him.

[This is] Sergeant Major - Sarge to us! He was a foster dog I had no intention of keeping... till Emit, my #1 bud of 12 yrs, died 2 yrs ago... Sarge is still here.. and I've finally accepted that he's not leaving   [We want to get] him into Skijoring classes. An Alaskan dog needs an Alaskan sport... and walking with me is like taking baby-steps for him! Sarge is wolf, akita, and shepherd. He is my second wolf mix rescue.
This is Emit (Rottweiler & Wolfhound mix). He was my best friend, confidant, and constant companion for 12 yrs.

Thank you for what you do - we love your site!

(The next pic is of Andy who came to stay awhile with Rosie and her crew.)

This is Andy (Rottweiler). She was a foster dog that stayed with us for four months while we relearned her it was okay to go outside -- and stay outside for a while! It's okay again to play, and it's okay to love again. She didn't even mind the chihuahuas! Andy has since gone back home to her first Mom in Texas. We miss her.
Mr. Peabody loves to sing along with the National Anthem. Can even reach and hold the high notes. He is so good at it, a couple of War Veterans saluted him at the end of one performance. He loves songs with the words "happy" or "love" in them. He makes his home with Tom & Val in New Jersey.
I have no favorite dog~I love all of them for different reasons~not only the ones that I own, but the fosters that pass thru here on their way to a "forever home." This is Denny, AKA Denim, Son of Levi. Denny is my puppy~and now weighs 109 lbs.As you can see, he loves water!

Dusty, AKC Little Big Man. Dusty is the old man of the group. He loves to "sing" to the sound of fire engines and to the song "Happy Trails to You" ~ a song which he happily sings to our company upon their exit.

Pam

Logan, AKA is "the foster that never left." Logan came for a short foster period, Hubby and I failed "foster 101" and Logan stayed with us!
This is our 5 month old Bernese Mountain Dog, Tatum.  Doesn't she have a great smile?  My husband, J, and I take her everywhere; she loves camping and hiking.  As soon as she is full grown we will be getting her a "backpack" so she can help carry stuff!

The mystery is solved!

This is Emma with her buddy Harbour. He has been a lap dog, since he was a pup, just kinda never outgrew it. They live in New Hampshire.

Thanks to Barbara Z (who signed herself as Emma's and Harbour's Mom)

Our gentle giant Juddy guarding his companion Camden Manny.  Juddy is a soon to be nine year old rescue Great Pyrenees.  He shares his space with Camden Manny (a kitty rescue) and Mabel.
Mabel is a rescued Pyr who is ten. Mabel is chilling with her Doggles on.
This is Fezzik. He's a big, sweet English Mastiff. He loves a tummy rub and to give everyone big Mastiff kisses!

We are looking for a photo of your dog!

The truth is out ~ bigtalldog.com believes that size does matter. We really like big dogs and we are very tired of the cute little pooches getting so much attention. Big dogs are so much more interesting ~ so we would like to showcase the many facets of our gentle giants. Email your photos ~ please provide your dog's name, your first name and state or country where you and your big dog(s) live, and a brief description of your favorite big dog to val@bigtalldog.com.
